The hotel is located north of Nosybe near Andilana (on this beach are two small restaurants: "Chez Loulou" and "in Ernest King lobster") the most beautiful beach of Nosy Be.
The hotel beach is 4 minutes from your bungalow. It is wild and clean.
In the lagoon opposite the hotel is a coral reef where you can snorkel.

Le Grand Bleu offers 15 bungalows:
- 5 family bungalows with 1 double bed and 3 single beds;
- 8 standard bungalows with 1 double bed;
- 2 hikers bungalows - Simple and minimalist bungalows for travelers.

Bungalows have airy rooms and they are comfortable. If you wouldd like an air-conditioned bungalow it will cost 10 euro more per night.
Bungalows have private bathroom and warm water shower (except the 2 hikers).
All bungalows have a terrace with sea view.
Every year terrace has a hammock and deckchair.
Inside the bungalows there is a fridge, a mini strongbox, a clothes stand and a double bed with a mosquito net.

Le Grand Bleu also offers:
a) a catamaran for fishing (made by Fontaine Pajot). The catamaran has 4 cabins for 2 people each. One day with the catamaran costs 750.00 euro - all included.
b) a catamaran Lagoon 410 very well equipped. The catamaran is booked by 6 people, from the hotel to Mitsio Island or Radama Island, costs 650.00 a day, all included.
With the catamaran Lagoon 410 it s also possible to reach Nosy Fannihy island for a one day excursion. The cost is 35 euro, and includes lunch, beverage, flippers and mask.
c) Moreover Le Grand Bleu organizes deep-sea fishing for maximum 4 people:
half a day 320 euro
full day 420 euro
Lunch and beverage are included.
The fishing boat has a 130 CV engine, cabin and awning.
The fishing equipment is by Penn Inter and Shimano.
Finally the hotel organizes a 3-hour tour with quads (Adventure circuit or Mount Passot).
With a guide its possible to visit the sacred lakes, the lemur village etc.

The hotel offers a laundry service, a boutique, games, a library for free, and we can send your postcards,
We can also organize local tours.
If you need to move from the Le Grand Bleu there are always taxis available close to the hotel, and anyway we can call a taxi for you.
Cell-phones work at Le Grand Bleu (Orange and SFR).
Le Grand Bleu is open all year round.

At the restaurant at the top of the hill you will discover the paradise of the Big Blue.
It offers traditional cuisine Malagasy (romazava, ena Ritsi etc ...) and European food prepared with a local chef. We offer many dishes of fish and shrimp, you can also enjoy lobster and camarones, smoked fish .... All served with a panoramic viewl.
The pool and Jacuzzi alongside will amaze you.

We have 10 bungalows with terrace, beautifully decorated spacious and comfortable. Sea view for all hammock ... the lush vegetation around your bungalow with all sorts of plants and trees of Nosy Be. While improving indoor comfort year after year (mini bar, optional air conditioning, mini safe, hot water shower, sink, toilet, bed 2 places and 1 single bed [optional] wardrobe, coffee table and chair , hammock on the terrace.).

We have 2 family bungalows with spacious 5 berth, very spacious. With a large curtain for more privacy 1 double, 1 single bed and 1 bunk bed, 1 toilet and separate bathroom (hot water) bar and safe. A pretty decoration awaits you ...

We also have 2 bungalows with separate bedrooms for 5 people, with toilet and bath (hot water), mini bar and safe, (1 room with double bed and 1 room with 1 single bed and 1 bunk bed). Bungalows hikers: 30.00euros night for 2 people.
Our bungalows hikers have a private bathroom (warm water) each shower, sink and toilet are fitted with mosquito net over the bed, light a small desk and a wardrobe. They are very cool and well ventilated they are in nature, you can enjoy the activities of the big blue (pool, restaurant, Jacuzzi, massage excursions etc ...)
On the terrace or in your hammock, you will see the sea at night you are lulled by the waves.
