Our place is an old creoles building made of rosewood, nestled in a green tropical garden. It has an exotic scenery and family atmosphere.

As the hotel is situated cloosed to the beach, you can admire lovely views at sunset.

The hotel "Gérard et Francine" is a small family hotel and we are aware that tourism can sometimes damage or disturb ecology or people.
That's why we invite our patrons to behave in a responsible way :
At "G et F" we refuse sexual tourism which is illegal as well as an attack on human dignity.
Tourists are requested not to leave any rubbish when travelling. Never leave plastic bags, batteries... we collect them at the hotel.
The Agreements on the Protection of the Species (CITES) aim at protecting endangered species (over 2500 animals and over 30 000 plants). It is illegal to sell or buy shells or coral, and export living exotic animals.
The hotel "G et F" are involved in the protection of the environment :
The " Tanana Madio Association " ( clean village ) was created eight years ago. Buffalo-drawn carts are used to collect rubbish in Ambatoloaka village, Madirokely, Dar es-Salam.
We also fight against the damaging of the lagoon and the beaches ... We have convinced the local builders not to use beach sand. The sand is now taken from rivers in Grande Terre.

Envisage "Cash" because one can often withdraw only 300 € per week with the CB in the banks which are closed the week-end (as from Friday 15hoo).
